MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT POLICY

Any amplified music or entertainment, including DJs, live bands and amplified performers, is only permitted in the Tall Barn and must finish by 11.00pm.

Small acoustic performers, such as a two-piece or similar, using no amplification, are permitted in the New Barn and must finish by 11.00pm.

All music and entertainment must cease by 11.00pm throughout the venue, including the Tall Barn, New Barn, cottages and all outdoor areas. The only exception is the New Barn, where background music may continue until 12.00am (midnight) through Hafod Farm’s own sound system and only under the supervision and control of Hafod Farm staff.

Couples and guests are not permitted to bring, hire, install or operate their own PA systems, speakers, amplifiers or other amplified sound equipment anywhere at the venue. Any amplified sound equipment must be supplied and operated by an appropriately insured professional entertainment or sound equipment provider, who is responsible for its safe operation and for ensuring that sound levels remain within the limits set by Hafod Farm.

All DJs, bands and other entertainment contractors must be professional suppliers and hold appropriate Public Liability Insurance. Any electrical equipment brought onto the premises must be safe, properly maintained and, where applicable, have a current Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) certificate. Evidence of insurance and PAT testing may be requested by Hafod Farm in advance of the wedding.

All entertainment suppliers must comply with Hafod Farm’s current noise guidelines, including any sound-level limits and monitoring requirements. Hafod Farm reserves the right to require sound levels to be reduced or music to be stopped if these requirements are not followed.

All music, entertainment and volume levels are subject to management by the Hafod Farm team on site. Any request by a member of the team to reduce the volume or stop music or entertainment must be adhered to immediately. Hafod Farm reserves the right to stop any performance or music where these instructions are not followed.
